What many people don't know is that wool is naturally self-cleaning is. Thanks to the lanolin - the natural wool grease - repels dirt and bacteria. As a result, wool needs to be washed much less often than other fabrics. A quick airing is often enough to keep it fresh. This makes wool not only practical, but also sustainable and kind to the planet.
If you want to wash your coat you can only with our Medicinal (golden yellow) coats on 30-degree wool-fine wash programme. We have a special ecological wool detergent with lanolin for this purpose. Our Medical Grade furs can also be tumble-dried at low temperature. Washing the furs is your own responsibility.
Washing instructions:
Plaats de vacht in de wasmachine met 50ml Eco Wool Wash in de zeeplade.
Was de vacht op 30 C wol/fijnewasprogramma (korte cycles).
Lig de vacht met de lederkant op een handdoek en rol deze op. Flink aandrukken zodat het resterende water zoveel mogelijk in de handdoek trekt.
Nu de vacht laten drogen op een vlakke ondergrond of stop deze in de wasdroger op een lage – NIET HETE! – temperatuur.
Laat de vacht hierna nog wat nadrogen en rek deze zachtjes in vorm. Daarna eventueel nog even naborstelen.
